A wide‑ranging introduction to the cosmos, this course explores the origins, structure, and evolution of the universe while teaching the fundamentals of stargazing and astronomical discovery. Students will learn how astronomers study the sky, what fills the universe, and what mysteries still challenge our understanding.
History of UFOs
with Barry Roth

This session explores key UFO and UAP incidents from 1941–1967, highlighting major sightings, military encounters, and early government investigations. Participants will look at how efforts like Projects Sign, Grudge, and Blue Book shaped public understanding and official narratives during this formative period.
Planting for a Changing Climate
with Sandy Liakus Pilcher

April 7th - field trip to Santa Ana Nursery
A spring gardening class focused on “Planting for a Changing Climate,” led by Master Gardener Sandy Liakus with guest specialists. The course includes a climate‑smart gardening session and an April 7th field trip to the Santa Ana Native Nursery to explore a native demonstration garden.
