Welcome to Placitas Adult Continuing Education (PACE)
PACE is a nonprofit organization based in Placitas, New Mexico, founded in 2018 with a simple mission: to keep minds active, connections strong, and curiosity thriving in our vibrant over-50 community.
Born from the idea that learning should never stop, PACE brings neighbors together to explore topics that inform, inspire, and spark joy — whether it’s local history, creative arts, wellness, or thought-provoking discussion. Our members don’t just attend classes — they lead them, shape them, and share their passions with one another.
This website is your hub to discover what’s happening, register for upcoming classes, and become part of something meaningful. Every class is taught by talented instructors — many of them PACE members — who offer both expertise and heart. With flexible membership options and a simple online registration system, it’s easy to get started.
“Lifelong learning, local connection — education that grows with you.”
If you’re over 50 and living in the Placitas area, we invite you to join us. Learn something new. Share what you know. And connect with people who value learning, just like you.
