Course Description:
Join a welcoming and informal discussion group where curiosity and conversation take center stage. Participants are invited to bring interesting articles, stories, or discoveries on a wide range of topics including science, nature, technology, music, books, history, and everyday life. Rather than focusing on politics, this class creates a relaxed environment for sharing ideas, learning from one another, and enjoying thoughtful conversation. A brief introductory email will help participants get started, but the true heart of the class is the engaging dialogue and connections created together.
Moderators: The conversation will be led by you, the course participants! You'll receive an email prior to the first class session to get you started.
Course History:
In past semesters we’ve had a course called Current Non-Political News, much enjoyed by members. The idea is to share with others in the class reasonably current articles or other writing on any non-political topic you like – science, technology, nature, music, books, etc. – and chat about it during the class session. What results is a lot of good conversation among friends. So that's what we're calling the class this semester.
If good conversation with a group of friends sounds attractive to you, well then, sign up!
